FRED WAY

The mv. FRED WAY was built in 1945 by DRAVO Corporation, Neville Island, PA. Originally named BUCKEYE, she was renamed in 1962 to COL. DAVENPORT by Alter Co., Davenport, IA. In 1984 she was sold to Madison Coal & Supply Company, Charleston, WV. The FRED WAY is powered with two GM 12V-149TI diesels rated at 1350 hp.
